Today, we honor the courageous men and women who were wounded or made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their bravery, resilience, and selfless dedication have helped protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. Here in Chelsea, we're grateful for organizations like Herbert J. McKune Post No. 31 American Legion, whose members continue to serve our community long after their military service has ended. Earlier this year, Chelsea Community Foundation was proud to support the American Legion through a community grant that will improve accessibility, helping ensure their historic building remains welcoming to veterans and visitors alike.
